Empowering Every Child to Reach Their Full Potential
We believe that every child deserves to be understood, valued, and guided to find their own voice.
Compassionate Speech Therapy
Talk in the Nest is a personalized speech and language therapy practice that empowers children with communication challenges to reach their highest potential. Whether your child is navigating a speech delay or a medical diagnosis, we attune to their needs and integrate therapy into everyday routines.
How We Help
Our experienced and skilled speech-language therapist meets you “in the nest.” Whichever service location you choose, we offer speech therapy and parent coaching to help you and your child build confidence, connection and communication.
In-Home Speech Therapy
We meet families in their homes in Minneapolis, St. Paul and the southwest metro. Providing speech therapy in a child’s natural environment allows us to focus on functional words and phrases that you use every day to build authentic communication.
Nature-Based Therapy
Talk in the Nest is excited to offer nature-based speech therapy at select parks and nature centers. Whether we’re going on a leaf hunt, reading a seasonal book, or playing “house” in a stick fort, time in nature promotes wellbeing, connection, and regulation.
Virtual Speech Therapy
We are licensed to serve families throughout Minnesota and Colorado via teletherapy. As long as you have the Internet, you can work with a highly qualified speech therapist who is dedicated to supporting your child.
What Makes Us Different?
At Talk in the Nest, we believe every child is unique—and their therapy should be too. Our trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach provides personalized, play-based speech therapy that celebrates each child’s strengths. We partner with parents to create a nurturing space where children feel confident, connected, and empowered to communicate and learn.

Owner | Speech-Language Pathologist | Listening and Spoken Language Specialist
I’m a speech-language pathologist and listening and spoken language specialist passionate about helping children who have communication challenges learn to listen, talk and thrive. My approach combines individualized therapy and parent coaching to foster meaningful, lasting growth—no matter a child’s diagnosis.
Talk in the Nest was created from both my professional experience and journey as a mother. Throughout my career I’ve supported children with a wide range of communication needs, with a special focus on children who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing. This work has taught me how powerful it is to coach parents in becoming their child’s first and most important communication partner. Becoming a parent myself deepened my appreciation for every child’s unique strengths and the joy of nurturing the whole child—their communication, curiosity, and confidence.
As a lifelong learner, I continue to integrate training in speech-language pathology, auditory-verbal therapy, nature-based education, and trauma-informed practices to meet each child where they are.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and two children, exploring the outdoors and tending to our garden. I look forward to learning more about your family and walking this journey with you.
